Hitting with a weapon coated in Oil of Combustion prepares a target for an explosion triggered by Fire damage.
A successful attack leaves the coating on the target. Subsequent Fire damage ignites it and causes additional Fire damage nearby.
Coating the weapon and triggering the explosion are separate steps. Plan the follow-up Fire damage and check nearby allies.
