Core rule
Turns and rounds
A turn is one creature’s opportunity to act. A round lets the creatures in combat take their turns.
On your turn, spend your available actions, bonus actions, and movement. Reactions may be available during someone else’s turn.
Ending at the start of your turn is different from ending at the end of an enemy’s turn. Check whose turn controls a short-lived effect.
