Effect
Heat deals Fire damage to its bearer, but Heat Convergence can spend it to improve subsequent Fire damage.
With Heat Convergence enabled, the remaining Heat is consumed to add Fire damage. Merely gaining Heat does not guarantee the same bonus on every attack.
The self-damage is real and can threaten Concentration. Consider how you gain Heat, what will spend it, and how you will handle the damage you take.
Answer
When an item's specified trigger is met, it applies Heat.

OnDamagedIsDamageTypeFire() and not Self()Answer
Heat does not add a separate roll modifier per stack; its stacks are tied to using Heat Convergence.
Derived from game dataMAG_FIRE_HEATEngulfed by a vengeful fire. Takes 1d4 Fire damage each turn, but can use Heat Convergence.
Core rule
Repeated effects may grow stronger, last longer, replace one another, or fail to combine.
For conditions such as Radiating Orb, remaining turns also affect strength. In contrast, repeated resistance does not keep halving damage.
Check whether the effect stacks and whether it has a cap. A shared display name does not mean the values from every variant can be added together.
